Purpose of this screen

Each map layer can be shown or hidden independently using the map controls.

How to use this screen

1. Review the property marker and the surrounding 5 kilometre search area.
2. Use the map-layer controls to show or hide Green Belt and National Park boundaries.
3. Review the summary panel for protected areas identified nearby.
4. Consider whether the property appears to lie within, close to, or outside a mapped designation.
5. Add relevant commentary in the text box below the map.
6. Select AI Suggestion for help drafting suitable wording, where available.
7. Select Save Report to include your approved commentary in the report.

Understanding the results

The results identify mapped Green Belt and National Park boundaries within the selected distance. A protected area listed in the summary may be nearby rather than affecting the property directly.

The map is intended as a location-based guide. Boundary data can help identify potential planning and environmental considerations, but it does not confirm the planning designation of the individual property or the constraints that apply to a particular proposal.
